The Turkish Foreign Ministry stated in a post on the X platform that Minister Fidan met with his counterparts during the opening event held ahead of the informal summit scheduled for tomorrow.

Earlier, Turkish Presidential Communications Director Fahrettin Altun announced that President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan will travel to Budapest on Wednesday to participate in the informal summit of the Organization of Turkic States.

The Organization of Turkic States (formerly the Turkic Council) was established on October 3, 2009, and includes Turkey, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan, with Hungary, Turkmenistan, and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus as observer members.
