Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano said that an official announcement about Jeremie Frimpong will be made by Liverpool soon after the Bayer Leverkusen player signs the documents to move to the Premier League champions this season.
"Jeremie Frimpong deal, all signed and formalized with an official announcement to be made soon. Liverpool get their new right-back for 35 million euros," Romano wrote, quoted from his official X account, Friday.
The recruitment of Frimpong is proof of the ambition of Liverpool management to make The Reds successful next season after becoming Premier League champions in Arne Slot's first season.
