Indonesian national team legend Herry Kiswanto or Herkis advised Indonesian national team coach Patrick Kluivert not to change his best composition when the Garuda team will face China in the closest match of the third round of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
Herkis, who has 40 caps for the national team from 1981 to 1993 based on RSSSF records, said this so that the chemistry in the best line-up that defeated Bahrain last March, is maintained. The hope is that later the Indonesian national team can play "fluidly" and get a win against China.
"Yes, maybe I feel like that. But what is clear is that all chemistry is important, very important, both local and naturalized," said the man who is now 70 years old, when met by media crew in Menteng.
