Malut United coach Imran Nahumarury hopes that his team's squad will not experience many changes next season, after they managed to close the 2024/25 Indonesian League 1 by finishing third in the final standings.
"This season's journey has not been easy. I have predicted it from the beginning, especially with the many players coming and going. But after the 10th week, the team began to stabilize," Imran said in a press conference after the match against Persija at the Jakarta International Stadium, Friday.
Malut ended this season's Liga 1 with a 0-0 draw at Persija's home ground. The result meant they failed to break into second place, which is occupied by Dewa United with 61 points.
By being in third place in the final standings, Malut will be entitled to appear in the ASEAN Club Championship next season.
