Head of the Indonesian Army Information Service Brigadier General Wahyu Yudhayana said that his party would provide protection to prosecutors in accordance with the request of the Attorney General's Office.
This is in accordance with Presidential Regulation Number 66 of 2025 concerning State Protection for Prosecutors in Carrying Out the Duties and Functions of the Republic of Indonesia Prosecutor's Office.
"The security of the prosecutor's office is a request, meaning whether it will be permanent or not, of course, also depends on the prosecutor's office as the party requesting assistance from the TNI," said Wahyu when confirmed by the media crew, Saturday.
Wahyu explained that later, TNI AD soldiers will be assigned to protect prosecutors in their work, such as during court hearings or when undergoing an investigation process.
