KAI CEO: TOD study for Sudirman area completed in three months

President Director of PT Kereta Api Indonesia Didiek Hartantyo stated that his party hopes that the study on the development of Transit Oriented Development (TOD) in the Sudirman area, Central Jakarta, will be completed within the next three months.

"We hope that within three months the study will emerge and based on that we will take further action," said Didiek when met on the sidelines of the launch of the book "Machinists Who Cross Storms" in Jakarta, Friday.

He said the study was conducted to design an integrated transportation ecosystem in the Sudirman area through collaboration with the Indonesia Australia Partnership for Infrastructure (KIAT).

The development of the Sudirman TOD area will also involve cross-institutional collaboration, including the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government, MRT, and various other modes of transportation to encourage more efficient system integration.

He said that the next steps after the study was completed would be formulated based on the results of the study, including determining the direction of development and a joint action plan between institutions involved in the project.
