The Government Goods/Services Procurement Policy Agency (LKPP) is collaborating with BPJS Ketenagakerjaan to strengthen protection for construction workers.
This was agreed upon through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and Cooperation Agreement (PKS) between LKPP and BPJS Ketenagakerjaan. This collaboration is part of the synergy of the implementation of the Employment Social Security program in the procurement of government goods/services.
"The signing of this MoU is the beginning for us to be able to work together to improve the welfare of workers in Indonesia and which I am sure will also be beneficial for the nation and state. This cooperation is our concrete step to improve the order so that Indonesian workers can become more prosperous," said Head of LKPP Hendrar Prihadi in his statement in Jakarta, Wednesday.
Because, he believes that cross-sector cooperation is a necessity in facing rapid changes in the times.
