English Premier League club Manchester City is reportedly ready to make an offer of 70 million euros or around Rp1.2 trillion to bring in AC Milan midfielder Tijjani Reijnders in this summer's transfer market.
Quoted from the Football Italia page, Friday, it was reported that Manchester City's offer of 60 million euros (Rp. 1.1 trillion) had been rejected by AC Milan, but The Citizens were reluctant to give up.
Manchester City's quick move to bring in Reijnders was made because they wanted to get new energy when competing in the 2025 Club World Cup.
According to reports from several sources, it is estimated that the new offer from Manchester City is enough for AC Milan to let go of the Dutch midfielder.
Some further details are needed to work out the payment structure and for Reijnders to agree personal terms, but at this point it is believed to be just a matter of time.
It is also worth noting that when Milan signed Reijnders from AZ Alkmaar in 2023 for €20 million plus €5 million in performance-related bonuses, it included a 10 percent cut of any future sales profits.
