The Directorate General of Air Transportation of the Ministry of Transportation is encouraging increased flight safety and efficiency in Papua to support reliable and sustainable air transportation connectivity and services.
"The Directorate General of Air Transportation is carrying out certification activities to ensure that the observation services to be implemented provide a guarantee of safety, smoothness and efficiency of flights in Papuan airspace," said Director of Flight Navigation at the Directorate General of Air Transportation, Ministry of Transportation, Syamsu Rizal, as stated.
The Directorate General of Civil Aviation of the Ministry of Transportation attended the Inauguration of the Improvement of Surveillance Services in Papuan airspace at the Indonesian Aviation Navigation Service Provider Agency (Perum LPPNPI) Sentani Branch, Jayapura, Papua.
During the event, the Directorate General of Air Transportation also presented a certificate for the provision of aviation traffic management and telecommunications services to Perum LPPNPI.
