National team legend asks Garuda not to waste Simon Tahamata

Indonesian national team legend Herry Kiswanto said that Simon Tahamata's arrival in Indonesia as Head of National Football Talent Scouts was not wasted.

Herry suggested that Simon get guidance from a local coach so that the man of Maluku-Dutch blood can quickly adapt to the local football culture.

"There must still be assistance, the federation must be able to collaborate so that what PSSI wants can be successful. Don't just Simon, because he must be blind, Simon must be blind and lack information," said Herry who had 40 caps with the national team from 1981 to 1993.

"And this is needed by our local coaching teams, many of whom know about their clubs and can provide input so that Simon's work is truly successful, everything runs smoothly," he added.
