A clinical nutrition specialist who graduated from the University of Indonesia, Dr. S. Dian Rachmawati Sp.GK, said that nutritional needs at each age range need to be met based on the nutritional adequacy requirements to increase body resistance during the transitional season.
"So indeed the range of needs of each person is different, that with different physical activities, then the stages of their age are different, then the needs will also be different," he said in a discussion about health during the transitional season which was followed online in Jakarta, Thursday.
Dian said that in children, the need for carbohydrates, protein, and fat is the most needed far from the needs of adults. Fat is needed by children for the process of brain formation.
