Observer and Director of Dataindo Usman Buamona assessed Ririek Adriansyah as a figure who is worthy of leading PT Telkom Indonesia Tbk again because he is considered to have the capacity, good communication, and a positive track record.
"The reason is, Ririek Adriansyah's leadership so far has quite a lot of achievements in the state-owned telecommunications company, both from within and outside, he has been given many awards. Of course, that is a strong capital for Mr. Ririek as the incumbent candidate for Telkom's CEO later," said Usman in a statement.
According to him, Ririek's portfolio is considered good because it is free from negative issues and legal problems, while under his leadership, Telkom Indonesia won the title of Forbes 2023 World's Best Employer or the world's best company.
He considered Ririek to have successfully maintained Telkom's position for three consecutive years. The achievement was a separate achievement for Telkom, where as many as 265 companies were removed from the Forbes World's Best Employer list.
Telkom also managed to rank 421st in the world and 8th in the world in the telecommunications & services industry category. With this success, Telkom outperformed other telecommunications companies, such as KT Korea, Vodafone UK, Nokia Finland, Kapsch Austria, Singtel Singapore, and NTT Japan.
