Official, Indonesian League 2 next season will be full of VAR.

President Director of PT Liga Indonesia Baru (LIB) Ferry Paulus confirmed that next season's Indonesian League 2 will fully use Video Assistant Referee (VAR) technology.

"Use full VAR. Confirm," said Ferry when met by media crew in South Jakarta, Wednesday.

The use of VAR in Liga 2 next season is actually nothing new because it has been used this season, although it was only in the match for third place between Persijap Jepara and PSPS, as well as the final match between PSIM Yogyakarta and Bhayangkara FC.

Unlike League 2, League 1 has used VAR fully this season. Ferry explained that all forms of preparation for VAR in League 2 have been prepared, from the referee to the stadium.

"Yes, it's done, the has been done by the referee committee in the selection process, then enrichment, education, and so on. Then the VAR itself is also on the way. Even the simulator for training and so on has arrived. Yes, it's different from Hawk-Eye," he explained.

However, of the 30 clubs competing in League 2, there are still three clubs that do not meet the requirements to use VAR because they do not have a stadium.
