Persik Kediri is aiming for victory in their visit to Kanjuruhan Stadium, in Malang Regency, East Java, to face visiting team Arema FC in a League 1 match.
"We came here to look for points too. We came with respect to the hosts and the supporters but I hope we can win the match," said Persik Coach Divaldo Alves in Malang, Saturday.
In the previous 13 matches, the White Tigers have not won once, either at home or away.
However, Divaldo said that the trend did not dampen the spirits of his players because it actually motivated them to beat Arema at Kanjuruhan Stadium.
"Regarding the match that we haven't won, I don't want to look at that, I want to look at tomorrow's match so that it becomes something positive for us," he said.
