Observers urge PSM to appeal Yuran Fernandes' sanction.

Football observer Muhamad Kusnaeni urged PSM Makassar to appeal against the sanctions imposed by the PSSI Disciplinary Committee on Yuran Fernandes.

PSM's mainstay defender, Yuran, was banned from playing football in Indonesia for a year and fined IDR 25 million for criticizing Indonesian football after Juku Eja lost 1-3 to PSS Sleman on May 3.

"Regarding the punishment for Yuran which is considered too heavy, that can indeed be debated. The perspectives of Yuran, the public, and the PSSI Disciplinary Commission could differ depending on each perspective," said Kusnaeni in a short message to reporters.

"What is clear is that there is room to discuss the punishment through the appeal process. Yuran's camp or PSM can request an appeal hearing to test whether the punishment is in accordance with the level of his guilt," continued the figure who is familiarly called Bung Kus.

Bung Kus considered Yuran's statement to be unwise, but assumed that Yuran had realized his mistake and then corrected his statement through clarification.
