Pertamina Patra Niaga said that as of May 5, 2025, hajj flights had absorbed 9,570 kiloliters (KL) of aviation fuel or 10 percent of the 95 thousand KL that had been prepared for hajj departures and returns.
"As of May 5, 10 percent or around 9,570 KL of avtur has been absorbed by the hajj airlines," said Pertamina Patra Niaga Corporate Secretary Heppy Wulansari.
Ahead of the 2025 Hajj season, Pertamina Patra Niaga ensures that the stock of avtur and infrastructure is in a safe condition to support the smooth running of the 2025 Hajj flights at 13 Hajj embarkation airports throughout Indonesia.
A total of 95,700 KL of aviation fuel has been prepared to anticipate the needs of Hajj flights during two operational phases, namely the departure phase from May 2 to June 1 and the return phase from June 10 to July 11, 2025.
In addition to ensuring the availability of stock and facilities, Pertamina Patra Niaga will also be on standby 24 hours during the departure and return of Indonesian Hajj pilgrims from the Holy Land.
