Prince Harry has expressed his desire to restore relations with his family after losing a lawsuit over his personal security as a member of the British Royal Family.
In an interview with the BBC , Prince Harry said his father, King Charles, would not speak to him "because of security concerns," but he wanted a reconciliation because life was "precious" and he did not know how long his father, who had been diagnosed with cancer, would live.
As quoted in the Guardian broadcast the Duke of Sussex revealed that there were so many disagreements and differences of opinion between him and some members of his family.
"Of course some of my family members will never forgive me for writing the book, of course they will never forgive me for a lot of things, but … I want to make peace with my family," he said.
"There is no point in continuing to fight. Life is precious. I don't know how much longer my father will live. He doesn't want to talk to me because of this security issue. But it would be better if we make peace," he said.
Harry (40) said he could never leave the royal family, even though he had left the "institution" because "I had to."
He also said it was "impossible" for him to bring his wife and children back to the UK after losing a legal challenge over his personal safety.
