Bogor Regent Rudy Susmanto involved the community in preparing a total repair plan on several roads in the Parungpanjang area, Bogor Regency, West Java, so that the economy can keep turning.
"We thought long and hard, if we repair all the roads, the people's economy could come to a halt. We asked for a decision from the representatives of the community present, representatives of Parungpanjang residents, Gunung Sindur residents, and Rumpin residents, which road we will work on first," said Rudy in front of the community during a working visit to Parungpanjang, Thursday.
There are seven vital road sections that will be concreted this year, especially those connected to provincial roads and border areas in Tangerang, Banten.
Rudy said that if total repairs to these road sections were carried out simultaneously, the consequence would be that a number of vital accesses would be closed for seven consecutive months.
