Sabalenka advances to fourth round of French Open to meet Anisimova

World number one Aryna Sabalenka entered her second week at Roland Garros with a convincing 6-2, 6-3 win over Olga Danilovic advance to the fourth round of the French Open against Amanda Anisimova.

Sabalenka said the warmer weather made the challenges on court different.

"The ball was going a lot faster, the bounce was a lot higher. You have to adjust the racket, which I didn't really do, and it felt a lot better," Sabalenka said after the match, as broadcast by the WTA.

Sabalenka has lost just 10 games in four matches, and 32 of her 37 wins this year have come in straight sets.

On Sunday (1/6), she will face number 16 Anisimova in the fourth round. Anisimova, a former French Open semifinalist, won 7-6 (4), 6-4 over number 22 Clara Tauson.

Sabalenka is the only player to reach the last 16 at both the Australian Open and Roland Garros in the last three years -- Coco Gauff could match that feat.
