Singapore-based artificial intelligence (AI) company , Whale, has successfully secured funding worth US$60 million (around Rp985 billion) to expand its technology business reach to the global stage thanks to the support of MDI Ventures.
Whale, which focuses on enterprise technology solutions, has raised two consecutive funding rounds, namely Series C1 and Series C2. In the Series C2 round in May 2025, Whale attracted a number of new strategic investors, including BOSCH Ventures, MTR Lab, Singtel Innov8, MDI Ventures, and Gentree Fund.
Temasek and Linear Capital were included as Whale investors in the Series C1 funding round which was completed in early 2023.
“This funding is an important milestone in our long-term journey to build intelligent AI infrastructure for visionary companies around the world,” Whale Founder & CEO Jerry Ye said in a press release.
