Kemkomdigi strategy ensures PSE complies with PP Tunas to overcome negative content

The Ministry of Communication and Digital explained the strategy to ensure that electronic system organizers can be in line with the Government Regulation on the Governance of Electronic System Organization in Child Protection especially in addressing negative content.

The strategy was explained by the Director General of Digital Space Supervision of the Ministry of Communication and Digital Economy, Alexander Sabar, in a short message to ANTARA on Tuesday, when answering questions regarding how the Ministry of Communication and Digital Economy ensures PSE compliance in controlling negative content to protect children.

"To ensure optimal enforcement of the rules, PP TUNAS has set administrative sanctions for non-compliant PSEs, including the option of terminating access to the violating platform. The Ministry of Communication and Information has also stipulated Ministerial Decree Number 522 of 2024 which regulates the mechanism for enforcing sanctions against violations by PSEs," said Alex.
