At the 2025 Shanghai Auto Show, local Chinese company Xpeng showcased its newest Iron humanoid robot, which uses an AI chip and is claimed to be able to help produce Xpeng's vehicles.
CarnewsChina reported on Thursday that the robot is equipped with 60 joints, 200 degrees of freedom, and processing power reaching 3,000 TOPS, which is very impressive.
This humanoid iron robot has a dimension of 1.73 meters with a weight of 70 kilograms so that this Iron is designed to closely resemble humans. Its hands, which are made on a 1:1 scale with 22 degrees of freedom, make it possible for this robot's style to resemble human flexibility.
