Expanding 5G coverage, Kemkomdigi focuses on three aspects. Director General of Digital Infrastructure at the Ministry of Communication and Digital Wayan Toni Supriyanto said that Kemkomdigi is focusing on three aspects to be able to expand the scope of 5G connectivity in Indonesia. These three aspects consist of radio frequency spectrum, infrastructure, and regulations which are expected to be able to increase the scope of 5G connectivity even wider. "From the aspect of the radio frequency spectrum, four frequency bands will be auctioned, where one frequency band is for 5G-based fixed broadband , while the remaining three frequency bands are for 5G-based mobile broadband ," Wayan told.
