Arema FC players, officials and management prayed together for the 135 victims of the Kanjuruhan Tragedy, while also commemorating the "1,000 Days" of the incident, which was held at the Kanjuruhan Stadium, Malang Regency, East Java.
"The essence of this prayer reading is to pray for during yesterday's tragedy," said Arema FC General Manager Yusrinal Fitriandi in Malang.
The joint prayer was held after the end of Arema FC's training session. Foreign players belonging to the club nicknamed Singo Edan , such as Lucas Frigeri and Thales Lira, were seen following the sacred procession.
In addition to the players and management of Arema FC, representatives from the Presidium of Aremania Utas were also seen joining in the joint prayer agenda.
As is known, the Kanjuruhan Tragedy that occurred on October 1, 2022 became a dark note in the history of Indonesian football.
