PSS Sleman through the President Director of PT Putra Sleman Sembada Gusti Randa revealed the reason for retaining foreign defender Cleberson Martins to compete in the 2025/26 League 2 competition.
Quoted from the club's official website, Gusti said retaining Cleberson was an important decision for PSS Sleman in arranging the team composition to compete in the upcoming competition.
For him, the presence of Cleberson is expected to be a strong team captain and a unifying figure for a team that does not want to stay in League 2 for long.
"A senior figure like Cleberson is expected to be a bridge between the old players and the new recruits of the PSS team," explained Gusti.
