Kenyon Joseph Buffen praised his fellow Rans Simba Bogor players for putting in maximum effort so that they entered the IBL playoff semifinals after winning 85-83 against Kesatria Bengawan Solo.
According to him, the victory in the second game at the Vocational School Gymnasium, IPB, Bogor, Saturday night was thanks to the tenacity of all the players in fighting, so that they advanced to the next round.
"I think this is the result we wanted to achieve and we worked hard for it all season," Buffen said after the match.
The win broke the curse of not being able to advance in the early rounds of the knockout phase. The forward reminded his teammates to stay focused on the next match because winning is the team's main target.
Buffen emphasized that the victory in the second game was the result of good teamwork, not just his personal efforts.
