Cabinet Secretary Lieutenant Colonel Teddy Indra Wijaya said that Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto, in the midst of a state visit to Russia, led a limited meeting directly regarding the dynamics of four islands in Aceh and North Sumatra Provinces.
"Through a video conference held during a visit to Russia, President Prabowo Subianto directly led a limited meeting," said Cabinet Secretary Teddy when confirmed via a written message received.
Cabinet Secretary Teddy explained that President Prabowo led the limited meeting via video conference with Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, Minister of Home Affairs Tito Karnavian, Minister of State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi, along with Aceh Governor Muzakir Manaf and North Sumatra Governor Bobby Nasution who were at the Presidential Palace complex.
The limited meeting, said Teddy, was to discuss the dynamics of four islands in Aceh Province and North Sumatra Province.Based on the basic documents owned by the government, President Prabowo officially decided that the four islands, namely Panjang Island, Lipan Island, Mangkir Gadang Island, and Mangkir Ketek Island, are administratively included in the administrative area of Aceh Province.
