Head of the Indonesian National Armed Forces Headquarters Information Center (Kapuspen) Major General Kristomei Sianturi recounted the moments during the evacuation process of Saudi Air passengers who made an emergency landing at Kualanamu Airport, Medan due to a bomb terror.
"Initially, the TNI received information about an emergency landing of Saudi Airlines flight SV5276 on the Jeddah-Jakarta route at Kualanamu International Airport, Deli Serdang, North Sumatra at 11.19 WIB due to a bomb terror," Kristomei told ANTARA.
After receiving this information, said Kristomei, the TNI then coordinated with the police and airport security elements to ensure that the passengers and crew were safe.
TNI personnel then carried out the evacuation process for passengers who had just landed at Kualanamu Airport.
