Deputy Minister of Home Affairs Bima Arya Sugiarto said that the second wave of regional head retreats at the Institute of Domestic Government (IPDN) Jatinangor, Sumedang, West Java, also included material on regional boundaries and potential regional conflicts.
Bima said the material would be delivered by the Director General of Regional Administration Development of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Safrizal Zakaria Ali, at the learning session.
"Later, Mr. Safrizal will deliver material on village boundaries because most villages have not yet finalized their boundaries. Then there are also issues regarding territorial disputes, raising boundary lines, codification, and others," said Deputy Minister of Home Affairs Bima Arya in Sumedang, Monday.
He explained that the second wave of the retreat provided more up-to-date additional information to the participants compared to the first wave, especially due to developments in regional administration issues that have occurred in recent times.
"Participants this time may be luckier because there are many new developments that can add to their perspective as regional heads," he said.
