FIFA takes decisive action on the Israeli league after attacks on Iran

FIFA has decided to allow foreign players playing in Israel to suspend their contracts with their clubs.

According to the One website, players can leave their clubs without receiving financial compensation, and clubs will not have the right to interfere in the player's decision.

This comes after Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz announced, on the night of June 13, 2025, a "preemptive strike" on Iran.

It's worth noting that FIFA took a similar decision regarding the Russian Premier League, allowing foreign players and coaches to suspend their contracts with Russian clubs.
