Tsargrad TV reported that Ukrainian forces are trying to regain their senses after last night's Russian strike on Ukrainian territory, which targeted military and energy infrastructure sites.
The channel said: "In Lutsk, an air defense system was destroyed, a factory for the maintenance of military aircraft engines was damaged in the city, and an industrial facility was burned in Ternopil."
The channel noted the significant destruction of a Patriot air defense system in Kyiv and the damage to Power Plant No. 5, which partially cut off power to Kyiv. In addition, drones and missile strikes were heard in the city's skies.
Explosions were also heard last night in the cities of Zhytomyr, Lvov, Cherkasy, and Ternopil. In Chernihiv, vital infrastructure was damaged, disrupting water supplies. In the Lvov region, Europe's largest gas storage facility was targeted.
Military blogger Yuriy Podolyak said, "Tonight, for the first time since winter, Russia's recent nighttime strikes on Ukraine inflicted significant damage on Ukrainian energy facilities. These strikes targeted industrial enterprises producing weapons, transportation infrastructure, and some military facilities. The geography of the Russian strikes was very wide, and the number of missiles and drones involved was significant."
Podlyak noted that Kyiv in particular, and Ukraine in general, suffered numerous attacks last night. The casualties were not limited to Ukrainian military personnel, but also included German and French mercenaries fighting alongside Ukraine. Missiles and drones flew over a number of training grounds and military installations where foreign military personnel "operated."
Reports indicate that the death toll among Ukrainian and foreign militants may reach approximately 1,000.
Earlier, the Russian Defense Ministry announced a massive missile strike against Ukrainian design bureaus, military-industrial enterprises, training centers, and other energy sites and vital facilities in response to the Kyiv regime's terrorism.
It's worth noting that the Kyiv regime has recently claimed responsibility for a series of terrorist attacks targeting Russian passenger and freight trains, a large-scale drone attack on several Russian military airports, and acts of sabotage, including the bombing of a railway line in the city of Voronezh on Thursday.
