Group E: Inter Milan attempt to heal wounds

The Club World Cup will take place from June 14 to July 13, 2025 in the United States, in a new format, initiated by the World Football Federation (FIFA) as the highest stage for club competitions worldwide.

This new format is expected to be an increasingly interesting competition and attract millions of eyes around the world.

The tournament, which involves 32 clubs, is divided into eight groups, including Group E which brings together Inter Milan (Italy), River Plate (Argentina), Monterrey (Mexico) and Urawa Red Diamonds (Japan).

In Group E, Inter are favored to advance to the next round, given their status as this year's Champions League finalists, despite being thrashed 0-5 by PSG in the final.

This tournament is seen as a medium for Inter to heal the wounds of last season when they failed to win a single trophy.
