The Ministry of Communication and Digital of the Republic of Indonesia together with the Ministry of Digital Development, Communication and Mass Media of the Russian Federation signed a memorandum of understanding ( MoU ) on bilateral cooperation in the digital sector.
The Indonesian Minister of Communication and Digital (Menkomdigi) Meutya Hafid stated that this collaboration will not stop at the signing, but will immediately enter the implementation stage.
"Indonesia and Russia have agreed to form a Special Sub-Committee as the main driver of joint digital programs, including HR training, technology exchange, and collaborative media content initiatives," Meutya said in her official statement, Friday.
The collaboration covers the development of 5G networks, the Internet of Things (IoT), radio frequency spectrum governance, strengthening cybersecurity, and developing inclusive internet policies. In addition, the cooperation program also involves digital content production, bilateral seminars, and inter-institutional research exchanges.
