The Ministry of Communication and Digital has issued warning letters to seven Private Electronic System Providers who have not fulfilled the registration obligations as regulated by the government.
Director General of Digital Space Supervision Alexander Sabar said that as of June 17, 2025, there were seven PSEs that had not provided an adequate response or shown concrete steps in fulfilling registration obligations in accordance with applicable provisions.
"As a concrete follow-up step, the Ministry of Communication and Information has sent a warning letter to seven PSEs that have not fulfilled the registration obligations as stipulated in the Regulation of the Minister of Communication and Information Number 5 of 2020," said Alexander in his official statement in Jakarta, Friday.
According to Alexander, the warning delivered is part of the government's commitment to creating orderly electronic system governance and protecting the rights and interests of the public as users of digital services.
