Injuries and arrests in the West Bank, as the occupation continues its raids across the West Bank amid increasing settler attacks.

The Palestinian News Agency, WAFA, reported that Israeli occupation forces arrested two young men at dawn on Sunday during raids on several villages and towns in the Nablus Governorate. They also arrested two Palestinians from the village of Fahma, south of Jenin, and detained dozens of others, brutally assaulting them.

WAFA reported that a special Israeli army force stormed the village of Fahma and surrounded a house amid heavy live fire. The forces then dispatched military reinforcements, including a bulldozer, to the village. The soldiers raided a café and several homes in the village, amid intense drone overflights. They detained a number of Palestinians and then arrested the freed prisoner, Louay Sa'abneh.

In the city of Hebron, occupation forces raided the southern part of the city and abused Palestinians, according to WAFA.

In occupied Jerusalem, dozens of extremist settlers stormed the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound on Sunday morning from the Mughrabi Gate, under heavy protection from occupation forces.

The Islamic Endowments Department reported that settlers conducted provocative tours inside the mosque and performed Talmudic rituals on the eastern side, while the occupation police imposed strict restrictions on the entry of Palestinian worshippers and confiscated the ID cards of a number of them at the outer gates.

For its part, the Palestinian Red Crescent Society announced on Saturday evening that it had transported two wounded Palestinians near the city of Jericho, one of whom was shot with live ammunition, and the other as a result of being struck on the head by Israeli soldiers.

In the same context, the Bedouin Rights Advocacy Organization, Al-Baidar, reported that settlers stormed the Al-Auja community north of Jericho, emptied water tanks, and destroyed livestock fodder with their camels.

Dozens of settlers attempted to storm the town of Deir Dibwan, east of Ramallah, from the eastern entrance, resulting in minor injuries among residents who confronted them.

In the Ramallah Governorate, settler attacks continued, as they attacked farmers and property on land between the villages of Ni'lin and Qibya, and set their sheep loose on agricultural crops. Live ammunition was also fired at a young man in the village of Al-Mughayyir, and homes were attacked in the town of Sinjil. The occupation army detained a number of young men, including the deputy mayor, Baha' Fuqaha, and closed the entrance to the town.

Settlers also attacked Palestinian vehicles with stones near the village of Burqa, east of Ramallah. In the village of Nabi Saleh, northwest of Ramallah, an Israeli army force fired tear gas canisters at residents' homes.

In the southern West Bank, armed settlers attacked farmers in the town of Sa'ir, east of Hebron, while occupation forces arrested a young man as he attempted to confront them.

In Tulkarm, Israeli occupation forces provocatively stormed the city's neighborhoods, blaring loudly, and setting up surprise checkpoints, subjecting citizens to searches and interrogations.

This coincided with a new attack launched by settlers on Saturday evening on the town of Deir Dibwan, east of Ramallah. Settlers attacked the town from the eastern entrance and attempted to storm it, but residents repelled them, resulting in further Palestinian injuries.

According to reports from the Palestinian Commission Against the Wall and Settlements (governmental), settlers carried out 157 attacks against Palestinians and their property in the West Bank during the first half of May.

In parallel with the annihilation of Gaza, the Israeli occupation army and settlers escalated their attacks in the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, resulting in the deaths of at least 972 Palestinians, the injury of approximately 7,000, and the arrest of more than 17,000, according to Palestinian data.

Since October 7, 2023, Israel has been committing genocidal crimes in Gaza, leaving more than 178,000 Palestinians dead or wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 11,000 missing, in addition to hundreds of thousands displaced.
