Israeli army: Defenses not airtight against Iranian missiles

An Israeli military spokesman reported Tuesday evening that air raid sirens were activated in several areas of the country after missiles were fired from Iran toward Israel.

He stressed that the Air Force is currently working to intercept and launch attacks when necessary to eliminate the threat.

The army spokesman asked Israelis to adhere to the instructions of the Home Front Command.

He pointed out that the defense is not perfect, so it is necessary to continue adhering to the instructions of the Home Front Command.

These developments come amid ongoing military escalation between Israel and Iran for the fifth consecutive day, with the two sides exchanging military strikes.

Last Friday morning, Israel launched a large-scale attack on Iran, targeting military and nuclear targets in an operation codenamed "Rising Lion." The attack claimed the lives of military leaders, nuclear scientists, and civilians. Tehran responded with missile attacks on Israel, dubbed "Operation True Promise 3."

Military officials reported that Israel continues its strikes on targets in Iran.

According to Israeli estimates, at least 20 people were killed and approximately 390 injured, while Iranian data indicated that more than 220 people were killed and more than 1,400 others were injured.
