The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) is opening up the opportunity to reveal the serial number of a private jet that was allegedly purchased using proceeds from corruption in the alleged bribery case of Papua operational funds worth Rp1.2 trillion.
KPK Chairman Setyo Budiyanto made the statement in response to journalists' questions after he asked for the public's help in notifying the KPK if they knew the location of the private jet.
"We also need information from the public about where the goods are, where the plane is, because we are tracking its position," said Setyo at the KPK Anti-Corruption Education Center Building.
However, he said that he could not reveal the serial number of the plane on that occasion.
"Yes, the details later. I don't remember the code," he said.
Meanwhile, he said that the Corruption Eradication Committee (KPK) has currently obtained information about the location of the private jet, although there are still a number of things that need to be confirmed.
"For now, we have more or less been informed, and we just need to confirm it. However, for now, we are still keeping the status a secret," he explained.
On June 11, 2025, the Corruption Eradication Committee (KPK) revealed that the case related to alleged bribery of operational support funds and the service improvement program for the heads and deputy heads of the Papua Provincial Government in 2020–2022 resulted in state losses of IDR 1.2 trillion.
