RB Leipzig has appointed Ole Werner as its new coach until 2027, the German League club announced on its website.
“In very detailed discussions, it was immediately apparent that we had the same view on how we want to play and work,” Werner said.
“It made the decision to move forward with it very easy for me.”
Werner left Werder Bremen in May after not extending his contract which was originally valid until 2026.
Bremen managing director Clemens Fritz said that he actually envisioned working with Ole in the long term.
"But we need continuity and clarity for the future of this role, which is why we decided to part ways with Ole," said Fritz.
