The Israeli occupation army reported in a statement that Iran had launched three waves of missiles towards the north, and a fourth wave towards southern Israel.

air raid sirens sounded in northern Israel, in anticipation of a fifth Iranian missile launch since the morning.

In the first four rounds, Tehran launched approximately 15 missiles toward Israel within an hour, according to the channel.

Anadolu Agency correspondent reported hearing loud explosions in Jerusalem in the occupied West Bank, as Iranian missiles were intercepted.

The channel reported that those present in the Knesset (parliament) building were evacuated after air raid sirens sounded in Jerusalem.

An Iranian missile also fell in the Ashdod area (south), another in an open area in the city of Safed (north), and a third in Arad in the Negev (south), without any injuries reported, according to the channel.

She added that air raid sirens sounded in Haifa (north) and in the Israeli settlements bordering the Gaza Strip (south).

The sirens continued to sound in Israel for 40 minutes, the longest period since the start of the war on Iran, according to the Hebrew newspaper Maariv.

The official Israeli Broadcasting Authority said that Iranian missiles targeted large areas of the country, forcing millions of people into protected areas.

The Iranian bombing method on Monday differed from previous ones. Instead of intense bombardment, individual missiles were launched over an extended period, targeting wide areas, according to Channel 12.

An Iranian missile damaged an Israel Electric Corporation facility.

The channel quoted the company as saying: "Following damage to one of the electricity company's strategic infrastructure facilities in the south of the country, power outages have been reported in several areas in the south."

The company added that its teams are on their way to several field locations to restore power as quickly as possible.

"Firefighting and rescue crews received reports of missiles and shrapnel falling in various areas," the Israel Broadcasting Authority reported, citing the Fire and Rescue Authority, without further details.

The Authority reported, citing local sources, that "explosions were heard near the city of Ashdod, likely caused by rockets falling in open areas between Yavne and Ashdod."

"Reports of another rocket falling in an open area near the southern city of Arad are being investigated, with no injuries reported," the authority said.

Since June 13, Israel has targeted nuclear facilities, missile bases, military leaders, and nuclear scientists in Iran. Iran has responded by striking Israeli military and intelligence headquarters with ballistic missiles and drones, leaving casualties on both sides.

At dawn on Sunday, the United States launched airstrikes on the strategic facilities of Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan in Iran, complementing the military, intelligence, and logistical support Washington provides to Israel in its aggression against Iran.

Tel Aviv and Tehran are each other's sworn enemies, and Israel's current aggression against Iran is the most extensive of its kind, marking a shift from a decades-long "shadow war" of bombings and assassinations to an open military conflict.
