Minister of Communication and Digital Meutya Hafid called on national media industry players to maintain their credibility in the digital space in order to create a digital space that is healthy, safe, and free from hoaxes and damaging content.
According to him, it is necessary to strengthen collaboration between the government and national media as strategic partners of the country so that comfortable and safe conditions can be achieved in Indonesia's digital space.
"Once again, good media, sustainable media , media that maintains journalistic ethical values are strategic partners of the government," said Meutya in her press statement .
Meutya explained that currently there are at least three main challenges facing the national media industry in the era of digital disruption, namely increasingly tight competition with global digital platforms, audience fragmentation that demands personalization, and a shift in consumption to audio-visual content.
