The North Sumatra Regional Police continues to provide security at hotels and the departure of passengers on the Saudia Airlines plane that made an emergency landing at Kualanamu Airport, Deli Serdang.
"We will continue to provide security until departure tomorrow (18/6) at 08:00 WIB," said Head of Public Relations of the North Sumatra Regional Police, Senior Commissioner Ferry Walintukan in Medan, Tuesday.
Ferry said that the security was carried out by the airport, personnel from the North Sumatra Regional Police, the Deli Serdang City Police (Polresta) and others both at the hotels where the pilgrims were staying and until their departure home.
Furthermore, he said, until now his party stated that the cargo was declared safe from suspicious objects.
