Indonesian League 1 club Persib Bandung officially announced that it has parted ways with striker David da Silva in this player transfer market.
Quoted from the club's official website, Friday, Deputy CEO of PT Persib Bandung Bermartabat (PBB) Adhitia Putra Herawan expressed his gratitude for Da Silva's contribution while defending Maung Bandung.
"Thank you, David. The goals and assists that almost never stop from your feet have contributed greatly to Persib's high achievements. Including when you brought this team to win back to back champion titles, " said Adhitia.
Since first wearing the Persib Bandung uniform in the second round of Liga 1 2021/22, David da Silva has immediately become a mainstay of the Blue Prince's front line.
From 103 appearances, he scored 69 goals, a record that made him Persib Bandung's top scorer throughout the Indonesian League era, surpassing previous legends such as Sutiono Lamso (41 goals) and Cristian Gonzales (40 goals).
