Poll shows more than two-thirds of British people believe Israel is committing genocide in Gaza

According to the results of the poll conducted by YouGov, a research company, in collaboration with Action for Humanity and the International Center for Justice for Palestinians (ICJP), more than half of the participants (55%) oppose the Israeli attacks, while only 15% support them.

When asked about their views on the Israeli attacks on Gaza, the vast majority of those who oppose the Israeli attacks (82%) believe that Israel is committing genocide in Gaza.

Regarding the British public's position on the implementation of the arrest warrant issued by the International Criminal Court against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, the results showed that 65% of respondents support the UK's implementation of this decision.

30% of Britons also supported immediate recognition of Palestine as an independent state, while 10% announced this step.

Since October 7, 2023, Israel has been waging a war of genocide in Gaza, including killing, starvation, destruction, and forced displacement, ignoring all international calls and orders from the International Court of Justice to halt it.

The genocide, backed by the United States, left approximately 186,000 Palestinians dead and wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 11,000 missing. Hundreds of thousands were displaced, and a famine claimed the lives of many, including children.
