Investigators from the Youth, Children and Women Sub-Directorate of the Directorate of General Crime Investigation of the South Sulawesi Regional Police will immediately name two lecturers as suspects in a case of alleged sexual harassment and violence against their female students.
"Yes, he has (been named a suspect). We have made a suspect determination letter, but it has not been signed by the leadership," said Head of Unit IV of the Renakta Sub-Directorate of the Criminal Investigation Directorate of the South Sulawesi Regional Police, AKP Ramdan Kusuma, when confirmed by journalists in Makassar, South Sulawesi, Tuesday.
The two lecturers, with the initials FS, teach at Hasanuddin University (Unhas) Campus, and the initials KH, teach at Makassar State University (UNM) Campus. Both were reported as victims of alleged sexual harassment.
From the results of the investigation into the FS case, six witnesses have been questioned and asked for information regarding the case, both from the victim, the victim's family, as well as the campus and the reported party.
Meanwhile, for the official suspect determination letter, he said, it will be signed by the leadership in the near future. The next step after the letter is signed, a notification letter is sent to the alleged perpetrator and the Prosecutor's Office.
