PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk and Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison have introduced the Sahabat-AI multilingual open-source Large Language Models (LLMs) conversation service in the GoPay application to make it easier for users to obtain information.
"We created a smarter, faster, and more affordable platform. We also present the Sahabat-AI chat service in the GoPay application that has been used by millions of people, so that people throughout the country can easily benefit from this unique Indonesian LLM," said GoTo Group President Director Patrick Walujo in a company press release received on Wednesday.
With the support of advanced reasoning capabilities, the Sahabat-AI service makes it easy for application users to ask questions and get informative answers in natural language.
Patrick said that Sahabat-AI services can be accessed via the sahabat-ai.com website or the GoPay application.
Users can open the GoPay application on an Android or iOS device, then look for the Citizens' Favorite Services category on the main page and click on the Sahabat-AI option.
After that, users can directly enter instructions or questions in the text box to start a conversation.
Patrick said that the latest Sahabat-AI model has the option of Indonesian and four regional languages, namely Javanese, Sundanese, Balinese, and Batak.
According to him, the breakthrough has provided significant benefits for GoTo ecosystem customers, including lowering costs, improving service quality, and deepening interactions.
"More than just a technological breakthrough, Sahabat-AI has strategic advantages that can drive the progress of Indonesia's digital economy," said Patrick.
The large language model with 70 billion parameters and new chat services are expected to meet the needs of the public and businesses for accuracy in language translation.
