Samsung has reportedly begun early development of its smart ring wearable, the Galaxy Ring 2, and it is confirmed that the device will not be released this year.
A report from Gizmochina, Tuesday (3/6), stated that this second generation model is still being developed in the early stages.
It is likely that this device will be introduced together with the Galaxy S26 series next year, or maybe later.
The delay is not surprising, as smart rings are compact in size and their components are more complicated to upgrade than smartphones.
Samsung seems to be focusing on continuous service improvements, rather than making design changes to this device.
