Trump confirms the "success" of the strike on Iranian nuclear facilities and attacks the "immorality of the media"

This came in a post on his Truth Social account, in which he assessed the damage caused to three nuclear facilities by US airstrikes on Iran early Sunday morning.

Trump asserted that the sites struck by the United States in Iran were "totally destroyed," and denied reports in American media outlets to the contrary, noting that "the immorality in the media is endless."

The United States launched a series of airstrikes on key Iranian nuclear facilities early Sunday morning, including Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan. This comes as part of its military, intelligence, and logistical support for Israel, which has been launching extensive attacks on nuclear and military targets in Iran since June 13.

Tehran responded by launching missiles and drones at Israeli sites, resulting in deaths and injuries on both sides, according to official statements.

Earlier on Monday, Iranian state television reported the launch of a military operation dubbed "Operation Bashayer al-Fatah," targeting the US Al-Udeid base in Qatar. Iran's IRNA news agency also reported a missile attack on a US base in Iraq.
