West Java Provincial Government: Si Jalak Harupat Stadium ready to host President's Cup





 The West Java Provincial Government has confirmed that the Si Jalak Harupat (SJH) Stadium, Bandung Regency, is ready to host the 2025 President's Cup which will start on July 6.

"Today we are checking and ensuring the development or progress of readiness in the field, both the main and supporting ones at the Si Jalak Harupat Stadium," said the Regional Secretary of West Java Province, Herman Suryatman in Bandung, Friday.

Herman said that currently various aspects of the stadium are being improved, starting from repairing the grass, painting, to improving supporting facilities.

"For the main thing at Si Jalak Harupat Stadium, currently the field itself is being repaired, including pedestrians, painting various corners of the stadium, installing carpets, repairing lights, LEDs, and sound systems. Everything is in process," he said.

According to him, Si Jalak Harupat Stadium, which was once one of the arenas for the 2023 U-17 World Cup, can accommodate up to 23,000 spectators. The stadium is scheduled to host five group stage matches of the President's Cup.

"Hopefully by July 1st everything will be finished. We are doing checks and re-checks solely to ensure the President's Cup is optimal. This is not only a technical matter, but also a matter of honor," he said.

He emphasized that the West Java Provincial Government is committed to making the 2025 President's Cup a success from various aspects.
