With heavy, long-range ballistic missiles, Iran begins the 13th phase of Operation True Promise 3 and attacks Israel.

Hebrew media reported that approximately five missiles were launched from Iran at Israel after midnight on Wednesday/Thursday, claiming that all of them were intercepted.

The private Israeli Channel 12 reported that "about five missiles were launched from Iran toward Israel," claiming that "according to estimates, all missiles were intercepted, with no casualties."

This comes at a time when Israel is imposing a strict blackout on sites targeted by Iranian missiles and drones, particularly those targeting military or vital sites, claiming that revealing these sites would "aid the enemy."

Following the launch of this latest salvo of rockets, air raid sirens sounded in the greater Tel Aviv area (central), including the cities of Tel Aviv, Herzliya, Holon, and Bat Yam, as well as in Jerusalem (central), the Dead Sea area, and Israeli settlements in the occupied West Bank (south), according to the privately owned Hebrew newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth.

Shortly before that, the Israeli military said in a statement that air raid sirens had been activated in various areas of Israel following the detection of missile launches from Iran. It emphasized that "the defense is not perfect, and therefore the public must continue to follow the instructions of the Home Front Command and remain in shelters."

The Israeli occupation army also claimed on Wednesday evening to have intercepted a drone after detecting its infiltration into the north of the country. The army said in a statement that it "intercepted an enemy drone after the sirens were activated in the area south of the occupied Syrian Golan."

Sirens sounded in the settlement of Ramat Magshimim after a drone was spotted, according to the Hebrew newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth. The army did not specify the source of the drone's launch, but Hebrew media reported that it was launched from Iran.

The Israeli Air Force claimed, early Thursday morning, to have intercepted two Iranian drones that triggered air raid sirens in several settlements in the Beit She'an Valley and Jordan Valley areas. The Israeli Air Force said in a statement, "The Air Force intercepted a drone launched from Iran, after air raid sirens were activated in several areas in the north of the country between 01:55 and 01:59 local time (GMT+3)."

Since dawn on June 13, Israel, with US support, has launched an aggression against Iran, including bombing nuclear facilities and missile bases, and assassinating military leaders and nuclear scientists. This has resulted in 224 deaths and 1,277 injuries. Tehran has responded with ballistic missiles and drones, leaving approximately 24 dead and hundreds injured.

The risk of an escalation of the conflict looms, with Western and Israeli reports suggesting the United States could join Israel in its aggression against Iran. This coincides with statements by US President Donald Trump calling on Tehran to surrender unconditionally and threatening to target Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.
