Young Indonesian racers' skills improved in Mandalika






 InJourney Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC) together with PT Bank Mandiri held the Mandalika Superbike School at the Mandalika Circuit, West Nusa Tenggara, 19-20 June 2025 to improve the skills of young Indonesian racers.

"This is one of the coaching efforts to improve the skills of young Indonesian racers," said ITDC Marketing and Sales Group Head Fitri Hartini in Central Lombok, Wednesday.

This program was held thanks to a strategic collaboration between ITDC and PT Bank Mandiri Tbk, involving PRIDE Motorsport and presenting Troy Corser, world racing legend and multiple World Superbike World Champion (1996 and 2005), as a trainer.

"This event is designed as a professional coaching clinic and track day experience training platform targeting young racers and the national automotive community, in order to strengthen the foundation of local and national talent through an international standard approach," he said.

A total of 60 participants, including the Junior Sport 150 U-15 Class racers in the Mandalika Racing Series, took part in intensive training covering technical skills and racing strategies .

"As well as character building such as communication skills, competitive mindset, and professional work ethic which are essential in an athlete's career," he said.

He said that the implementation of MSBS is a form of optimizing the function of the Mandalika area in responding to the needs of the national sports tourism industry .

"This program not only strengthens The Mandalika's positioning as an international event host, but also contributes to the development of young talents and strengthening the automotive community in the country," he said.
